2011 Mitsubishi Outlander GT?

Autoweek just posted the first few pics of the new Outlander replacement called, imaginatively enough, the Outlander GT. From the photos, it looks like they grafted the nose of the current Lancer into a more slab sided body. The lights look wicked though.

Expect better V-6 and I-4 engines, rumored to have Stop-start technology and direct injection (which older Mitsu cars had).

Domestic Brands and Models I'd Keep

With the ever looming brankruptcy for GM and Chrysler, I can sense that there is some shrewd little Chinaman wiating in the wings to scoop up the spoils. He'll be in an envious position as he can pick and choose what plants, models, and brands he can take. Even more promising, he can keep some new models undergoing testing right now.

Coupes:
Chevrolet Camaro
Chevrolet Corvette

Cars:
Subcompact - Opel Agila
Compact - Chevrolet Cruze
Midsize - Opel Insignia

Trucks:
Midsize  - Chevrolet Avalanche
Fullsize - Chevrolet Silverado

SUV:
Compact - Jeep Wrangler/Jeep Patriot
Midsize - Chevrolet Equinox
Fullsize - Chevrolet Tahoe

MPV:
Subcompact - Opel Meriva
Compact - Chevrolet Orlando
Midsize - Chrysler Town & Country

On the Luxury side, the only one's I'd keep are for Cadillac:
CTS
CTS Coupe
SRX

And, with the exception of CAdillac, all will be available with diesel engines.
